Banana Bread Oatmeal

I think we all can agree that while away at school, cereal, in any shape or form, can serve as any meal, at any time. I love it as much as the next person, but sometimes you have to spice up the staples.

Take oatmeal, for example. Why have it plain, when you can have it as Banana Bread?

This extra shot of deliciousness takes nearly no time at all. Some fruit, nuts, and spice is all you need.

Simply cook oatmeal according to package instructions, mix/mash in half of your banana, stir in a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg, and top with almonds the other half of your banana in cute little slices.

Seriously, this is delicious. And so so SO easy. Try it for your next breakfast (lunch or dinner!).

1/2 banana (mashed)
1/2 banana sliced
1 tablespoon nuts (chopped)
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar (optional depending on how sweet the banana is)
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1 serving oatmeal
